Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder that leads to shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with walking, balance, and coordination. Parkinson’s develops when cells in the brain stop working properly and are lost over time. These brain cells produce a chemical called dopamine.
