
Trigeminal Neuralgia
Trigeminal neuralgia (TN) is also known as Trifacial Neuralgia, Fothergill Disease, Tic Douloureux.
Nerve disorder, severe facial pain caused by inflammation of one of the 3 parts of the 5th cranial nerve (trigeminal nerve ), which carries sensory information from face to brain (face sensation), its caused by compression of the trigeminal nerve.
Symptoms:
• Trigger point on the face while brushing teeth, chewing food
• Stabbing pain at lower portion (jaw, cheek) of face
• Sharp facial pain
• Uncomfortable tingling and burning sensatio
